As you gradually regain consciousness, you are soothed by the warm sun and the waves gently lapping your feet. You feel so relaxed, but the burn of the dried salt on your chapped lips and the gritty sand in your teeth make you sit up with a start.
“Where am I?” you exclaim, as a flood of memories fill your mind. “I nearly died. A storm washed out the road. I lost all my stuff and tumbled into a raging river before being washed into the savage sea. My life was over!”
